OHL Upgrades to Oracle Exadata Database Machine to Support High Availability
BRENTWOOD, Tenn., Oct. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- OHL, a leading global third party logistics company (3PL), has upgraded to Oracle Exadata Database Machine, the highest-performing and most-available platform for running Oracle databases. This upgrade supports OHL's technology initiative of having a highly available technology support system, which includes adding additional redundancy not only between its two data centers, but at the database level as well.

OHL will now operate Oracle Exadata systems running Oracle Linux as part of a converged infrastructure in its two data centers, one located in Texas and one in Tennessee. The technology upgrade in both data centers enables OHL to operate in a high availability environment with redundant database servers and storage in a single consolidated platform.
