OgilvyEarth Named Leading Integrated Marketing Agency in Sustainability Communications
NEW YORK, Sept. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- OgilvyEarth has been named a leading integrated marketing agency offering "genuine expertise in sustainability communications," according to a survey of 18 agencies by leading independent research firm Verdantix.
"OgilvyEarth goes beyond promoting current initiatives and creates brand platforms that are catalysts for change," the report notes. Verdantix cites OgilvyEarth as one of only two agencies that have a "clear sustainability vision supported by processes and methodologies specifically designed to address sustainability communications challenges."
Of the 18 firms in the study, OgilvyEarth was the only agency to offer fully-integrated communications strategies and solutions in sustainability. OgilvyEarth was formally launched in 2009 when Ogilvy & Mather unified its multiple sustainability offerings under one banner to form the first global, cross-discipline practice dedicated to helping brands uncover the leadership opportunity in sustainability.
"We have a global commitment to help our client's brands and businesses find meaningful ways to build sustainability programs that provide a new path to prosperity," explained Seth Farbman, President of OgilvyEarth. "When sustainability is tied to growth and profit, real change can take place."
With a true 360 degree offering that includes consulting, public relations, government affairs, advertising, employee communications and digital engagement, OgilvyEarth has helped some of the world's biggest organizations, including Coca-Cola, DuPont, the Environmental Defense Fund, Quantas, the WWF and the United Nations use sustainability to drive brand value, achieve long-term growth and increase profits.
In New York, OgilvyEarth provided input for the design of Ogilvy & Mather's new headquarters at "The Chocolate Factory" on 11th Avenue, which received Gold LEED Certification. The building uses electricity from 100% renewable energy sources, features a state-of-the-art "daylight dimming" light system that produces energy savings up to 70%, has a water conservation system, follow-me printing program, green cleaning solutions and the only bike sharing program in New York.
