Ogilvy Public Relations Acquires a Majority Stake in ConceptPR in Brazil
The PR and digital content firm will merge with local Ogilvy PR
SAO PAULO, Sept. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ogilvy Public Relations, a wholly owned subsidiary of WPP, announced today that it has acquired a majority stake in ConceptPR, a Brazilian public relations and digital content firm.
ConceptPR was created in 2012 by ex-journalists Eduardo Vieira and Ricardo Cesar as a firm uniting corporate communications, digital and social media. Known as a "Guerrilla PR" specialist, ConceptPR counts top Brazilian and global brands as clients, including Mondelez, Oakley, JBS, Ultragaz and Metrô São Paulo. The combined business will operate as Ogilvy Public Relations.
