WASHINGTON, Dec. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Ogilvy Public Relations (Ogilvy PR), an integrated global communications firm, today announced that Jennifer Wayman, MHS, Ogilvy Washington's Executive Vice President and Group Director, Social Marketing, has been promoted to Managing Director, US Social Marketing effective January 1, 2014.

"Jennifer, a 20+ year Ogilvy veteran, is the natural leader for our US Social Marketing Practice," said Mathias. "She is incredibly devoted to her clients, team and the social issues we work so hard to address, whether it be women's health, cardiovascular disease, cancer, vaccines, disaster and emergency preparedness, osteoporosis or violence prevention. She is a trusted advisor to our clients and respected leader among colleagues and I am delighted to see her in this role."
Wayman started her career as an intern with Ogilvy PR in 1990, as the Social Marketing practice was just beginning.
