Ogilvy & Mather Chicago Appoints Antonio Nunez as Head of Planning
Experienced storyteller joins Ogilvy's growing Midwest compass point
CHICAGO, Sept 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ogilvy & Mather Chicago announced today Antonio Nunez as the new Head of Planning of the agency's Chicago office starting in September.
Reporting into Ogilvy Chicago president Lee Newman, Nunez will oversee the agency's planning department. He will work closely with Ogilvy's global network and across Ogilvy Chicago's other marketing disciplines to grow the group's planning capabilities. A native of Spain, Antonio will add to Ogilvy Chicago's growing international leadership team.

Antonio has spent over two decades working in the communication industry in 17 countries across four continents. He worked as strategist consultant for Young & Rubicam and Euro RSCG. He later moved to Saatchi & Saatchi where he worked for 11 years as strategist, and was appointed Guest of Honor of the Worldwide Strategy Committee. In 2007, he become partner at SCPF WPP agency and collaborated to launch its Miami hub. Two years later he founded his own company focused on storytelling, Story and Strategy.
"For over twenty years my passion has been crafting meaningful stories based on simple human emotions that ignite conversations and spark debate," said Nunez. Nunez is also an author and speaker. His latest book is entitled, Storytelling en una Semana (Storytelling in a Week), discusses how personal stories transform the way we understand and connect emotionally with others. He is also an advisor to companies like McDonald´s, HP, Novartis, Danone and The World Bank, lectures at ESADE Business School, writes articles for El Pais and Harvard-Deusto Business Review and participates in LATAM radio and TV shows.
Antonio and his wife Valery plan to relocate from Madrid to Chicago beginning in September.
