OJJDP'S Coordinating Council on Juvenile Justice Meeting Today–Acting Attorney General Mary Lou Leary, Office of Justice Programs, and Acting Administrator for the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Melodee Hanes chaired the quarterly meeting of the Coordinating Council on Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. The Council, whose membership includes representatives from 12 federal agencies and nine practitioners, coordinates federal delinquency prevention programs, federal programs and activities that detain or care for unaccompanied juveniles, and federal programs relating to missing and exploited children. Featured speakers included Grace Bauer, co-director of Justice for Families; Shay Bilchik, director of the Center for Juvenile Justice Reform at Georgetown University; and Grace Warren, co-director of the National Parent Caucus.
