OJJDP Launches New Website, Helps at-Risk Girls –The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention's National Girls Institute launched a website on Wednesday, February 8, to help at-risk and delinquent girls. OJJDP established the National Girls Institute in 2010 to develop and provide a range of training, technical assistance and resources to local, tribal and private organizations serving girls and young women in or at risk of entering the juvenile justice system. "We have a responsibility to educate professionals and the public about what programs work to keep girls safe and out of trouble," said Melodee Hanes, Acting Administrator of OJJDP.
