OEM Controls Data Delivery introduces Fuel Process Control Panel; Simple web based app for daily operations.
SHELTON, Conn., March 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- By tying together data on fueling, hours of use, and equipment location, the Fuel Process Control Panel application can save hours of time wasted every shift driving to job sites and attending to machines that do not need to be fueled. Now fuel and lube truck drivers know that – if the machine was fueled last shift – and has not been used – its tank is still full. Quick, easily accessed data saves time and money every day.
As more and more construction and aggregate companies keep introducing mobile hardware to their field workers, the demand for easy to use construction software applications continues to grow. Once a luxury, Smartphones and Tablets are now showing up on most construction sites. While in the past only engineers used to carry them, today many equipment supervisors, service managers and service technicians do as well.
That is why, In keeping with their Simplicity Campaign, OEM Controls Data Delivery software designers chose HTML 5 to build an advanced software application enabling quick updates for fuel and location data – Fuel Process Control Panel. Information such as machine utilization, location, fuel consumption and job site data is easily delivered to any tablet or phone using IOS, Android or Windows. To make things even easier for service managers, fuel truck drivers, and other mobile workers, OEMDD ensured its application delivers only data specific to their needs.
The information delivered to the Fuel Process Control Panel is collected using ruggedized RFID Service Tracker devices placed on each machine to monitor its hours of use as well as account for all fuel dispensed and consumed by the individual machines. In addition, sophisticated measurement and control systems 'GoPOD' are built into the fuel trucks to accurately account for every gallon of fuel. All the data is wirelessly collected, integrated, and routed back to both the customers' business software and the Fuel Process Control Panel for use by workers on the construction site.
Founded in 1966 with HQ and manufacturing based in Shelton CT; OEM Controls Data Delivery manufactures the world's leading ruggedized fuel management and machine monitoring systems. Systems are deployed globally and throughout the US and Canada for Mining, Construction, and Aggregate producers.
