Odyssey Software Enhances Mobile Device Management Support for Windows Phone

WEST HENRIETTA, N.Y., Dec. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Odyssey Software, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise-class mobile device management (MDM) software, today announced enhanced support for devices powered by the Microsoft® Windows® Phone 7.5 (Mango) platform through the company's flagship MDM software product, Athena™.

Odyssey Software has implemented several new features that enhance Athena's MDM capabilities for Windows Phone devices, which build on the passcode policies, and remote wipe capabilities that are core to the Windows Phone platform. Some of these new features include provisioning of applications, documents and media to remote devices; comprehensive hardware, software and device health reporting; device location reporting; and the ability to push customizable messages to device users over-the-air.
