According to Platinum, the auction sale may be held in a "hybrid" fashion, with some bidders participating in person and on-site, while others bid remotely via telephone. "Whenever we are in resort-type markets like this one, we try to be flexible and cater the auction venue and process to what is most amenable to our bidding audience," noted David Ashcroft, Platinum's Managing Director.

Named Villa Los Amigos by its original (and only) owner, the estate is perched near the top of an oceanside hill, allowing for inspiring, panoramic vistas of the crystal blue skies and Pacific Ocean. On many evenings, the sunset turns the sky into a canvas of rich pinks, oranges, reds and purples.
