Behavioral Health Provider Strengthens Position with Nationally Recognized Thought Leaders
PLANO, Texas, Feb. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Oceans Healthcare, a nationally recognized behavioral health provider focused on the healing and long-term recovery of older adults and seniors, today announced the addition of three leading industry experts to its Board of Directors.
Rob Allen, CPA, recently served as Oceans Healthcare's interim chief financial officer and brings 38 years of dynamic healthcare experience to Oceans' board of directors. Allen arose from the ranks of healthcare management and has served in chief operations and chief financial roles for large healthcare organizations such as Coram/CVS Infusion Services, Apria Healthcare, Titan Health Corporation and American Medical Response driving operational, financial, revenue cycle and strategic growth.
Phillip B. Douglas, brings more than 35 years of healthcare and management experience to Oceans' board of directors. Formerly chairman and chief executive of LifeCare Health Partners, a national healthcare services provider, Douglas led the company during a period of growth, service line diversification and increased revenue. He has served in senior executive positions across the healthcare continuum for leading organizations such as Workscape, Health Spring, United Health Corporation and Humana. His depth of board expertise includes efforts in rapid growth and turnaround, and extensive background in operations, strategic planning, leader recruitment and growth initiatives.
Peter Grua brings 25 years of seasoned venture investment expertise with director positions held at nearly 20 healthcare service and information technology organizations and publicly traded companies. His current directorships include The Advisory Board Company (NASDAQ), Ampers and Health, ArroHealth, Imagine Health, Linkwell Health, Medicalis and OnShift, and formerly, several companies acquired by leading names like McKesson, WebMD and Centene.
