Observable Announces Two New Executive Hires
Management Team Brings on New Heads of Sales and Marketing
ST. LOUIS, Dec. 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Observable Networks Inc., an emerging leader of advanced threat detection services, today announced two new additions to their growing executive team.
Ron Sterbenz was named Vice President and General Manager of Corporate Marketing and eCommerce. Mr. Sterbenz will drive all facets of Observable's corporate marketing and web commerce efforts, from demand-to-fulfillment, billing, brand development, strategic marketing and demand generation. In addition, Jim Reilly was appointed Vice President of Sales. In his role, Mr. Reilly will be responsible for developing and executing the company's go-to-market sales strategies including direct, inside sales and partner/channel programs.
Mr. Sterbenz was previously chief marketing officer of Telx, where he was responsible for a complete brand makeover as well as public relations, marketing and product development. Mr. Sterbenz also worked at Equinix, where he was responsible for building and executing the segment strategy for two of its largest verticals, cloud and managed service providers and enterprise and alliances. He also previously worked with Bryan Doerr while at SAVVIS.
Mr. Reilly has held sales leadership roles for the past 20 years with MFS WorldCom, and more recently, with Equinix where he was instrumental in developing the company's sales strategies and driving revenue growth in the finance, media and enterprise markets.
