ObjectVideo Files Action with International Trade Commission Against Pelco
RESTON, Va., June 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ObjectVideo, the leader in intelligent video, today announced it has filed a complaint with the United States International Trade Commission (USITC) requesting an investigation of certain Pelco Sarix® technology products, including, but not limited to, Sarix® IDE10DN-0 and Sarix® IEE10DN-0 network cameras. The complaint seeks an exclusion order and a cease and desist order barring the importation, sale for importation or sale after importation of infringing Pelco products manufactured outside of the United States.
ObjectVideo is simultaneously involved in an ongoing USITC investigation of certain Bosch and Samsung hardware and software product lines. Impacted Bosch products include certain VG4, VG5, AutoDome Junior HD, Dinion, Extreme and FlexiDome embedded network camera products; VideoJet X, VideoJet X SN and VIP series encoder products; and Bosch's Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA) software. Samsung products under investigation include certain analog camera products and A1, SV-V and WiseNet network camera products such as SCB-4000, SNB-3000 and SNV-5010. The trial is scheduled to begin on July 18, 2012 at the United States International Trade Commission.
Earlier this year, ObjectVideo entered into portfolio-wide global patent licensing agreements with Tyco Security Products' American Dynamics business unit, Sony Corporation and VIVOTEK.
