Oberg Industries Selects David Bonvenuto As Its Next President
FREEPORT, Pa., March 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Oberg Industries, a full-service contract manufacturer of precision metal components and assemblies, has announced the appointment of David Bonvenuto as the company's next President. Current President and CEO, Robert Wagner will work closely with Mr. Bonvenuto over the next months to ensure a seamless transition of leadership of the company.

David Bonvenuto has been with Oberg Industries since 2001. He has held the position as the company's Chief Financial Officer and most recently served as the Executive Vice President and General Manager of its wholly-owned subsidiary Oberg Medical. During Mr. Bonvenuto's tenure at Oberg he led the acquisitions and integration efforts of both of the company's off-shore manufacturing facilities in Costa Rica and Mexico. He is a customer-focused executive as evident of Oberg Medical earning the distinction in 2012 as one of Pittsburgh's 100 Fastest Growing Companies as reported by the Pittsburgh Business Times. Prior to his career with Oberg, David Bonvenuto held executive management positions with Wabtec, MotivePower Industries, Inc., and OnlineChoice.com. He started his career with the global accounting and consulting firm KPMG as a member of their manufacturing audit and consulting practice. He is a cum laude graduate of West Virginia University and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Allegheny Valley Hospital and American Heart Association – Beaver/Butler County Regional Board.
