WOODSIDE, Calif., June 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Open Assessment Technologies (O.A.T.), the leading global assessment solutions company, announced today that it has been chosen by the State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA) as a member of its Emerging Private Sector Partners (EPSP). SETDA, the principal membership association representing U.S. state and territorial digital learning leaders, will debut these partners at its upcoming Emerging Technologies Forum from June 23 to 26, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas.
Now in its fifth year, the EPSP is a public-private partnership program tailored specifically for startups new to the U.S. K-12 education and technology market. This year's cohort of 9 companies, were selected from a large, highly competitive pool of applicants based on their emerging status, capacity to leverage technology to serve a need in PreK-12 or pre-service education, and their potential to scale on a statewide and multi-state basis. The program is designed to foster opportunities for new entrants to gain more visibility with state and national digital learning leaders.
