OASIS Operates with Alma and Alexander Street

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., June 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- ProQuest is simplifying workflows for librarians with two initiatives that bring together complementary assets to enrich its OASIS® search, select and order system.

• In the first integration, an enhanced Alma™ API will enable all OASIS order information to be transferred to Ex Libris' renowned library management system, saving time and reducing the potential for order duplication.
• A second integration lets librarians order from Alexander Street's vast DVD content via OASIS, embedding the popular medium within their book acquisition workflow.

For libraries with the Alma™ management system, all orders in OASIS are transferred to Alma via an enhanced API that's available at no additional cost. Benefits include:
