LOS ANGELES, Aug. 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- On Saturday, August 19, NYX Professional Makeup will celebrate the online makeup artist and beauty community when it names the "Beauty Vlogger of the Year" at the Sixth Annual Fine Artistry of Cosmetic Elites (FACE) Awards show at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles.

The ceremony, hosted by popular YouTube personality PatrickStarrr and emceed by beauty vlogger Charisma Star, will include a panel of judges featuring YouTube personalities, Chrisspy, Glam&Gore, Madeyewlook, and Academy-Award winning veteran makeup artist, Ve Neill.

The ceremony will also include musical performances by Willow Smith and RuPaul's Drag Race star Alyssa Edwards. The FACE Awards show will stream live at faceawards.com and on the official NYX Professional Makeup YouTube channel.

For the first time ever, NYX Professional Makeup will also host FACE Expo, a free pre-show convention at the Shrine Expo Hall. FACE Expo will include interactive panels such as "How I Did It - And You Can Too!" and "FACE Alumni: Where Are They Now?" featuring today's top beauty vloggers, sponsor activation booths offering glam touch-ups and goodie bag giveaways, vlogger meet-and-greet opportunities for fans, makeup master classes, and much more.

The competition, which kicked off in April 2017 with thousands of video entries, has surpassed three rounds of public voting. The final six contenders are currently gearing up to fly out to Los Angeles, where they will film their third and final video challenge.

In addition to winning $50,000, the "Beauty Vlogger of the Year" will also receive consultations with professional makeup artists, a year's supply of NYX Professional Makeup, and the opportunity to kick-start a professional career in makeup artistry. The five runner-ups will each receive $15,000.

General Admission tickets are free to the public and include a gift bag; Premium Ticket Packages are $25 and include special seating with a gift bag valued at $250.
