NYSE Euronext Leverages PHP to Deliver Web Assets Worldwide

Using Zend PHP application lifecycle solutions with the Drupal PHP-based content management system (CMS), NYSE Euronext was able to accelerate development and deliver nearly 40 U.S. customer-facing web applications, in some cases achieving 200 percent or better performance improvements, within 18 months.

By partnering with Zend and adopting the Zend PHP solution and Drupal CMS, the NYSE Euronext Global Web Organization was able to implement a modern, agile approach to building business-critical web applications in PHP.  The Global Web Organization was able to compress the development cycle from as much as two years down to just two weeks while supporting continuous innovation and integration. Among the first web sites completed using the Zend PHP platform are: NYSE MoneySense, a consumer resource for understanding and managing personal finances; NYSE Connect, which promotes online community-building and information exchange among CXOs of listed companies, their partners, and exchange experts; LatencyStats, addressing one of the foremost issues in exchange trading today; Bonds, which highlights  NYSE Euronext bond market product and service offerings; Exchange Traded Products, a site featuring related product and trading information; and Indices, which provides information regarding NYSE Euronext index offerings to furnish investors, asset managers and structured products issuers with tools that match their needs with market trends.
