NEW YORK, Sept. 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The New York City Energy Efficiency Corporation (NYCEEC) today announced the election of four new members to its nine-member Board of Directors, bringing a cross-section of distinguished talent and experience to help guide the industry-leading non-profit finance organization.
The new directors include:
- David Fenton, founder of Fenton Communications, who's been called "the Robin Hood of public relations" thanks to his lifetime of work for health, environment, and sustainability causes and campaigns.
- Ashok Gupta, Senior Energy Economist at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), where he has been a global voice for energy efficiency and clean energy policies and practices.
- Bruce Schlein, Director in Citi's Community Reinvestment Act Business Strategy & Execution group. An energy finance innovator, Bruce has helped to establish new energy-based asset classes for investors, including securitization for single family home energy efficiency loans and energy service agreements for pools of corporate projects.
- Elizabeth Zeldin, Senior Program Director at the affordable housing nonprofit Enterprise Community Partners, Inc., where her affordable housing preservation focus integrates capacity building, energy efficiency, resilience and health.
