NY Giant Justin Tuck's Third Annual Celebrity Billiards Tournament a Renowned Success

New York's Hottest Event raised $475,000 for Tuck's R.U.S.H. for Literacy; Charity Surpasses $1 Million Dollar Fundraising Goal since 2008 Inception

NEW YORK, June 6, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On Thursday, June 2nd, New York Giant defensive end Justin Tuck hosted Tuck's Celebrity Billiards Tournament Presented by RXR Realty LLC, a leading New York Tri-State real estate operating company. The third annual fundraiser was again held at Slate NYC and continues to be a marquee event in the New York charity scene.

This year's billiards competition generated $475,000 and more importantly, took the total fundraising of Tuck's R.U.S.H for Literacy well over the $1 million plateau since the charity's creation in 2008. This event along with the charity's Sack Challenge help Justin and Lauran continue their mission to educate and empower underserved children by providing books and other reading materials to both New York City schools as well as school districts in Alabama where Tuck was raised.
