Nutella® Tour City Challenge Heats Up As Breakfast Tour Winds Down

SOMERSET, N.J., Nov. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- As the Nutella Breakfast Tour truck visits its final cities, Nutella lovers nationwide continue to tweet away in an effort to help win their city a visit from the Nutella Breakfast Tour Truck filled with five thousand (13 oz.) jars of free Nutella® hazelnut spread.
To enter the Nutella Tour City Challenge, eligible participants must send a tweet through their Twitter.com account which (a) describes their favorite way to wake up with Nutella® hazelnut spread; and (b) includes a hashtag with the word Nutella and the name of a city (i.e., #nutella(your city)). As of this week, Woodbridge, VA leads the way, bringing it one step closer to winning a visit from the Nutella Tour truck. Close behind Woodbridge, VA are Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Boston and New York City.
The city named (via hash tag) in the most eligible tweets received during the promotion period (September 21, 2012 – December 15, 2012) wins a visit from the Nutella Tour truck, which will hand out up to 5,000 (13 oz.) jars of free Nutella® hazelnut spread to those in attendance - while supplies last!
The winning city in the Nutella Tour City Challenge will be announced on the Nutella USA Facebook and Twitter pages as well as the Nutella USA website (www.nutellausa.com) on December 16, 2012.
The Nutella Breakfast Tour Truck is making its way across the country and will stop at 12 cities along the way. The truck has already visited Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Orlando and New Orleans, and will make its way to Phoenix, San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco by mid-December. This week, the Breakfast Tour truck is treating fans in Dallas.
