Nusta Spa Reopens Three Months After Fire
Washington's most popular day spa reopens in time for Valentine's Day
WASHINGTON, Feb. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Nusta Spa, the premier spa in Washington's central business district, celebrates its grand reopening today. Nusta temporarily closed on October 25, 2014 due to smoke and water damage caused by an electrical fire. After three intense months of work, all repairs have been completed, and the spa has resumed normal operations, with a full menu of nature-inspired face, body and nail care services.
Nusta had recently marked its 10-year anniversary with a redesigned retail space and new line-up of results-oriented skin care when a small fire triggered the sprinkler system and caused damage through much of its 5,000 square feet of sustainable interiors. Despite the disruption, loyal clients didn't have to sacrifice their wellness routine; Nusta converted its lounges to treatment rooms and launched mobile massage and skin care services that brought Nusta's talented staff to clients' homes and offices.
"While we were able to serve many of our clients' wellness needs during the repairs, we could not host them in our award-winning facilities, so I'm thrilled that we're reopening as scheduled," said owner Elizabeth Snowden Bonner. "All repairs were done in accordance to our green building approach, and the spa looks better than ever. I'm really excited to invite guests back to enjoy the luxury LEED-certified space they've grown to love."
To thank guests for their support, Nusta is offering 20% off all retail products and services through the end of February – just in time for Valentine's Day. Guests can also book a special package to celebrate February 14th that includes a custom aromatherapy massage oil blend using the Intentional Aromatherapy™ app, sugar body scrub, lemon and amber infused moisturizing shea butter wrap, full body massage, hydrating facial mask, facial massage, and essential oil scalp treatment.
Nusta is open from 10am – 8pm Monday thru Friday; 9am – 7pm on Saturday; and 10am – 6pm on Sunday.
