NurseWise Wins Two Awards at the 12th Annual Global Stevie® Awards for Women in Business
ST. LOUIS, Nov. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- NurseWise, a national multilingual nurse triage and health education provider, won both Gold and Bronze Stevie® Awards at the 12th Annual Global Stevie Awards for Women in Business. The "NurseWise Behavioral Health and Crisis Line Awareness Campaign" was named winner of the top honor Gold Stevie® Award for Communications or PR Campaign of the Year - Low Budget. NurseWise's "20 Stories for 20 Years Campaign" won a Bronze Stevie® Award for Campaign of the Year - Internal Communications. More than 1,300 nominations were submitted from 31 nations and territories this year for consideration for these prestigious international awards.
The Global Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees and the companies they run worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world's premier business awards.
"Receiving the Gold Stevie® Award is not only an honor, but recognition of our purpose-driven team. The NurseWise Behavioral Health and Crisis Line Awareness Campaign ultimately helps save lives every day and continues to raise awareness about behavioral health and necessary support and treatment," said Kim Tuck, RN, President and Chief Executive Officer of NurseWise. "Our dedicated co-workers enable us to provide the top level of care that we do to the more than 6 million lives NurseWise serves. Without their passion and determination to help others and each other, neither of these campaigns or awards would have been possible."
Following are more details about both NurseWise campaigns:
- Communications or PR Campaign of the Year - Low Budget: "NurseWise Behavioral Health and Crisis Line Awareness Campaign" heightened market recognition of the behavioral health support and a crisis telephone line provided by NurseWise for numerous Southern Arizona counties. The extensive, yet cost-effective, marketing plan and tactics ensured all voices were heard and relationships were enhanced with all stakeholders. As part of the plan, NurseWise launched an educational campaign, including a new consumer-facing website (www.callnursewise.com) and collateral materials. The effort achieved substantial results, including inbound call volume that is on track to more than double compared to the previous year and a decrease in abandonment rate (when people do not stay on the line) by more than 10 percent.
- Communications or PR Campaign of the Year - Internal Communications: The "20 Stories for 20 Years" video campaign honors NurseWise's 20th year in business – and brought the opportunity to spotlight the employees that set the company apart. The videos allow employees to share their career growth and the opportunities afforded to them through the company, as well as their favorite memories of their time at NurseWise. In less than a year, the campaign has achieved significant results, including more than 1,500 views, double the day-of page views of the week previous and a 200 percent increase in site visits. The videos can be viewed on the NurseWise YouTube Channel.
Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 160 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process this year.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for "crowned," the awards were presented to winners Nov. 13 during a dinner event attended by more than 400 people at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. The presentations were broadcast live via Livestream.
