ST. LOUIS, Nov. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- NurseWise, a national nurse triage and health education provider, has been named the winner of the top honor of a Gold Stevie® Award in the Internal Communications Campaign of the Year category in the 11th annual Global Stevie Awards for Women in Business.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business is the world's top honor for female entrepreneurs, executives, employees and the organizations they lead – worldwide. The 2014 awards received 1,200 entries from 22 nations and territories. Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 160 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process this year.
Nicknamed "The Stevies" for the Greek word for crowned, the awards were presented to winners during a dinner event attended by more than 400 people at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City on Nov. 14, 2014.
NurseWise was named best-in-class in the Global Internal Communications or PR Campaign of the Year category for its My Personal Purpose campaign.
"We are very proud to receive the Gold Stevie® Award," said Kim Tuck, RN, President and Chief Executive Officer of NurseWise. "As a purpose-driven company, this recognition is an honor for our entire team. The dedication and passion of our co-workers are what inspired this campaign, and ultimately, led to this win."
My Personal Purpose asked NurseWise co-workers why they do what they do, both personally and professionally, as a way to align personal purpose with company purpose. NurseWise co-workers wrote their personal belief statements on white dry-erase cards, then they were photographed holding those cards. The photographs captured were created into a series of six videos that launched NurseWise's celebration of 2014 Nurses' Week. What resulted was a powerful video display of meaningful messages about hope, joy, caring for others and bright futures.
