NUMU Food Group Appoints Mike Pytlinski as Chief Executive Officer

New CEO to prioritize growth and expansion across the quick-service restaurant and pizzeria sectors

BROOKLYN, N.Y., May 26, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- NUMU Food Group, the company behind NUMU Vegan Mozzarella, a great-tasting, vegan cheese, today announced the appointment of Mike Pytlinski as Chief Executive Officer.  Gunars Elmuts, the  company founder who has been acting Chief Executive Officer since NUMU's inception, will continue as the Chief Innovation Officer.

Pytlinski most recently served as CEO of NutraDried Food Company, the company behind Moon Cheese snacks, where he drove significant growth via new distribution, new products, and a major brand re-launch.  Prior to NutraDried, Pytlinski held senior leadership positions at Palermo's Pizza and Kraft Foods.  At Palermo's, Pytlinski was integral in the launch and expansion of Screamin' Sicilian – the first major craft frozen pizza and winner of many retail grocery innovation awards.  Pytlinski received a B.S. degree in business administration from Northeastern University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
