According to Chasity Bothman, MDA Connecticut Area Director, the amount raised this year is the highest in the history of the event, and a large portion of those funds will go towards "summer camperships," which help send children to MDA summer camps in Connecticut.
"Seeing the industry and the community come together to promote independence and quality of life for kids with Muscular Dystrophy was inspirational," said Scott Ritchotte, Numotion Area Vice President of Sales. "We were proud and honored to be a part of it."
Bothman said Numotion received Company of the Year award for many reasons, including helping with the Black and Blue Ball, ongoing assistance with the mobility loan closets, volunteer help at summer camps and overall support of the organization.
"Numotion is excited to continue its support of the MDA," said Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships, Mark Miller. "Our team is geared up to be involved and support many MDA events across the country, including Muscle Walks and summer camps in 2014."
