Numerify Achieves Record Revenue Growth and Doubling of Fortune 500 Customer Base
Business analytics company celebrates significant milestones following the launch of its System of Intelligence for IT
SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Numerify, a cloud analytics solutions company focused on business analytics for IT leaders, today announced the conclusion of a breakthrough fiscal year with historic growth, the addition of several prominent Fortune 500 names, and significant advances in product innovation. Numerify's pioneering System of Intelligence for IT provides IT leaders with unified insights into their people, projects, and processes across Plan-Build-Run activities.
In the last year, Numerify added Top 5 companies in the industries of high tech, consumer goods, insurance, telecommunications, energy management, and investment services to its customer base. The company more than doubled its new recurring bookings, tripling its average annual contract value over a two-year horizon and executing multiple seven-figure transactions in the second half of the year. The average revenue of Numerify's customers was $34.7 billion, reflecting the widespread demand for a unified system of intelligence among today's largest and most complex IT organizations. Numerify now provides insights into IT operations and application development to more than 1,000 senior IT leaders across Fortune 500 companies.
"We are delighted to now count five of the Fortune 50 companies as Numerify customers," said Gaurav Rewari, Co-Founder and CEO of Numerify. "Numerify enables data-driven CIOs and IT leaders to measure and manage key strategic initiatives such as application rationalization, resource optimization, and AI-driven production risk reduction that are vital to the success of their corporate digital transformation."
This year Numerify expanded its analytical offerings to include broadened data source coverage, IT-specific analytic models, and rapid support for new data sources through a data ingestion pipeline that uses highly scalable big-data technologies such as Apache Kafka and Spark. The company also launched new solutions to help IT accelerate DevOps and Agile development with analytical insights. This broader and deeper functionality drove increased user adoption, with the user count per customer doubling in the past twelve months.
Numerify's success is driven in part by its product advancements, which include the recent approval of two patents on data store design and language conversion. The first patent, 9,886,490, covers the design for an efficient, historical data store structure with live queryability that supports functions such as archiving, warehousing, operational reporting, and data feeds from a single store. Patent 9,881,055 covers the conversion of SQL expressions into an S-Expression tabular structure, and use of that representation to translate the SQL expression into SQL-like languages — an innovation that accelerates analytical application customization and extensibility. Analytical innovations like these drive the company's ability to deliver time to value in two to four weeks instead of months or years. This brings the company's total number of patents awarded to four, with another fifteen patents pending approval.
"Numerify already owns core intellectual property (IP) in the area of descriptive and predictive analytics for workflow-based, service-oriented applications," said Srikant Gokulnatha, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Numerify. "These new patents broaden our IP coverage to include low latency analytics for multiple systems of record in support of our vision of unified visibility and insights across plan, build, and run activities, regardless of the source of data."
