NSU Resources Inc. Completes Exercise Of Mineral Rights Options
SAULT STE MARIE, Ontario, July 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- NSU Resources Inc. (OTCQB: NOST) reports the company has fully exercised its mineral rights options from Byers Brook and Shatter Lake claims in Nova Scotia. The region is the object of renewed mineral exploration efforts owing to the recent findings of Rare Earth Elements (2010) and Gold (2011).
The Property is located within a geological environment that is favorable for the discovery of Rare Earth Element (REE) mineralization similar to nearby recent REE discoveries (MacHattie, 2010). Other types of mineralization such as Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) and Iron-Oxide-Copper-Gold (IOCG) are also being explored within the Cobequid Highlands Area. The Shatter Lake Property is located in Colchester County, Nova Scotia and consists of Mineral Exploration License 08996, which contains 78 claim units (3120 acres or 1263 hectares).
