The event is being organized by the NSHMBA Twin Cities local Chapter and sponsored by Target Corporation. This unique conference is for students, human resource professionals and business leaders who are interested in learning about the real payoff from diversity in the business world.
The Business Case for Diversity conference is like no other as it covers two successful diversity business cases, key facts about the past changes in the population trends of the United States and Minnesota, research studies about financial results of developing a diverse organization, as well as a networking session. Attendees will learn about real business cases from top executives from Cummins, Inc. and General Mills as well as interesting facts about diversity from subject matter experts, including the state demographer of Minnesota and a professor from University of Chicago. Additionally, conference attendees will have an opportunity to network at the end of the event.
Though this may be one of the first of its kind, the Business Case for Diversity conference looks to make a definite impact and create talk in the corporate world about how to best leverage diversity to achieve financial and non-financial results.
