NSBA Elects Timothy Reynolds of Northeast Ohio 2015 Chair
WASHINGTON, Jan. 13, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National Small Business Association (NSBA) has elected its 2015 leadership, led by Mr. Timothy Reynolds, president of Tribute, Inc. in Hudson, Ohio. Taking over the helm at NSBA for the 2015 year, Reynolds has been outspoken about the importance of a nonpartisan, small-business focused organization speaking out for small businesses in Washington, D.C. – something NSBA has been doing for more than 75 years.
"Throughout his various volunteer posts here at NSBA, Tim's has been a voice of pragmatism and unswerving commitment to small businesses," stated NSBA President Todd McCracken. "He has testified before Congress on the need for tax reform and has been a tireless advocate on small-business issues throughout all levels of government."
With more than 20 years under his belt as a small-business owner of Tribute, Inc., Reynolds brings to the table his first-hand knowledge as a small-business owner as well as 15 years in corporate America. These two very different experiences have helped inform Tim's active policy work as he has talked time and again about the differences between big and small-business issues, and the need to maintain a unique focus on the issues facing America's small businesses.
Reynolds is a former chair of the Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE) in Cleveland—one of NSBA's regional affiliates—and currently serves on the board and executive committee of the Greater Cleveland Partnership. Not only does he run a small-business, he works with countless other small firms across the U.S. and Canada through his company's TrulinX, an enterprise resource planning software which enables his clients to manage their sales, purchasing, inventory, receivables, payables and financial statements.
"I am proud to serve as Chair for NSBA, a group I've spent several years working with to promote a strong and vibrant small-business community," stated Reynolds. "As an organization, we understand the importance of bipartisanship and compromise and I look forward to carrying that message forward throughout my chairmanship."
NSBA is proud to welcome Tim Reynolds as the 2015 Chair.
Celebrating more than 75 years in operation, NSBA is a member-driven nonpartisan organization advocating on behalf of America's entrepreneurs. NSBA's 65,000 members represent every state and every industry in the U.S., and we are proud to be the nation's first small-business advocacy organization. Please visit www.nsba.biz.
