Recall Summary

Name of Product: Abby Dining Chair

Hazard: Chair legs can break unexpectedly, posing a fall hazard.

Remedy: Refund

Recall Details

Units: About 250

Description: The Abby Dining Chair has dark brown wooden legs with seat and back upholstery in either gray or green fabric with black or white edge piping. The chair is approximately 20 inches wide, 24 inches deep and 36 inches tall. The SKU number 428136-CS-C or 428136-GS-C is printed on the product packaging. There are no identifying labels on the product itself.

Incidents/Injuries: The company has received four reports of a chair leg breaking. No injuries have been reported.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the product and contact NPD Furniture for a full refund.

Sold at: Various home furnishing retailers nationwide between July 2014 and November 2014 for about $200.
