WASHINGTON, April 29, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Voter Empowerment Action Project provides voters with information about their rights and requirements to legally cast ballots at the polls. The group will unveil Voter Connect, a program to connect voters in blue states with voters in red states.
Participants:
- Yvette Lewis is president of the Voter Empowerment Action Project. Lewis has chaired the Maryland Democratic Party since May 2011.
- Mark Mellman is CEO of The Mellman Group, a polling and consulting firm for local, national and international political an corporate clients. Mellman is a consultant with the VEAP.
- Karl Sandstrom, a senior counsel with Perkins Cole, is a nationally recognized expert on government regulation of the political process. Sandstrom is legal counsel for the VEAP.
