WASHINGTON, Sept. 23, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- House Minority Whip Rep. Steny Hoyer, D-Md., will speak at 10 a.m. on Sept. 29 at a National Press Club Newsmaker's press conference about what is at stake for the country as Americans prepare to elect a new House of Representatives in November's midterm elections.
Hoyer will address the gridlock that has characterized the Republican-led Congress and well as critic what his staff described as "the Republican record of inaction and obstruction on issues important to the American people." Hoyer, the second-highest ranking Democrat in the House, will also describe the Democrats' economic agenda, including job creation and help for America's middle class.
