Expert Panel to Discuss Effectiveness of Digital Investigations

WASHINGTON, June 9, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Digital investigations are crucial to the truth about any event and email is at the heart of any investigation. Recent cases in Washington are revolving around email files from the IRS to the State Department. On Tuesday, June 16 at 2 pm in the Bloomberg Room at the National Press Club, a panel of distinguished expert wills discuss the effectiveness of digital investigations and the important phases of those investigations, from preservation to testimony.

The panel includes:

Jim Carden, a court qualified computer forensics investigator and expert, a Special Agent in the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (OSI), Computer Operations and Investigations Branch for the US Air Force Reserve;
Chida Chidambaram, Chief Technology Officer for Big Data & Analytics at Day1 Solutions, and
Time Weaver, currently the forensic expert for a local Bay Area DA's office and formerly the manager of a FBI RCFL unit in Silicon Valley.
