Nox App Player Version 3.3 Sees Impressive New Updates
BEIJING, April 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- New Android emulator Nox App Player has released its first update this year, with version 3.3 offering major fixes and improvements to existing features.
Launched in the second half of 2015, the app's creators Duodian Network have been rolling out new features almost every month, and this year they have started with big maintenance work first.
Many of the improvements come from feedback and suggestions from end-users, meaning Nox App Player's compatibility with various computers and apps has been significantly expanded.
One update that draws the most attention is that Nox App Player now supports DirectX, one of the major graphics rendering programs. For most Android emulators, only OpenGL rending is supported, but now using Nox App Player users can switch between OpenGL and DirectX.
DirectX mode will take up more CPU and RAM resources, but also perform better graphic-wise. The issue of black screen and glitches in graphic-intensive games will be greatly reduced and many graphics related startup errors will also ease up in this version.
Another great improvement is that Nox App Player has finally added Google Contact which enables contacts to auto-sync. For example, those who prefer to use WhatsApp on their PC through Nox App Player could sign in and find their contacts synced in a minute instead of manually adding friends one by one.
As for the multiple instances feature many users are specifically interested in, the UI has also been optimized. In previous versions, users could only open each instance one by one or with command lines, which would be very challenging for those who are not familiar with programming. Now in this new version, it has been made possible to choose and run all or certain instances with one click.
Virtual machine users will also be able to run Nox App Player as long as they have VMware 6.0 and DirectX mode on. Other tweaks also include optimizing the overall UI for 4k computer monitors, making the WASD key editable in keyboard control settings and adding Russian to system language settings besides the original Chinese, English, Korean, Japanese and Vietnamese options.
Nox App Player is not only leading in functions and features, but also taking time to consider user needs and feedback and consolidate their suggestions while constantly improving the stability and compatibility of the emulator, making it a strong competitor in the Android emulator market.
