Now is the busiest time for the HVAC industry
Official start of summer kicks off the busiest time of the year for those in the air conditioning and heating industry.
SARASOTA, Fla., June 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Summer officially starts on Saturday and that means the busiest time of the year for residential HVAC contractors is here. Warmer temperatures bring an increase in calls for service, maintenance, repairs and replacement of older systems. According to operations managers with One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating® between June and December 30th, 70 percent of all business for the year will be done. The most common call is a customer reporting their air conditioning is not working.
Operations managers say 80 percent of all emergency calls could possibly be avoided if customers took steps for preventative maintenance. Their top three summer HVAC tips are:
1. Get your HVAC system tuned-up at the start of summer to make sure your system is operating efficiently.
2. Make sure your HVAC drain lines are cleaned.
3. Change your HVAC system filters.
