Nova's Metrology Solutions are Selected by a Leading Logic Manufacturer for Development of Advanced Technology Nodes

Nova Measuring Instruments Ltd. (NASDAQ: NVMI) provider of leading edge stand-alone metrology and the market leader of integrated metrology solutions to the semiconductor process control market, today announced that a leading logic manufacturer recently selected Nova for its most advanced standalone metrology tool and software modeling platform. The order includes NovaT600 standalone metrology equipment and a complete solution of NovaMars modeling platform including multiple Mars developer licenses. Nova's technology was chosen to support 14 and 11nm technology nodes development and future manufacturing, covering FEOL and BEOL applications for litho, etch and CMP processes. Nova was selected following a competitive evaluation. The company expects to ship the ordered tools during the first half of 2012.
