HARWOOD HEIGHTS, Ill., Feb. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- A ribbon cutting, led by Portillo's founder, Dick Portillo, officially signaled the opening of the brand's newest restaurant. The new 10,000sf Portillo's at 7308 W. Lawrence Avenue is the 47th for the popular chain, which features a 1950s-1960s diner theme with period memorabilia. The restaurant includes a dual-drive-through and a large outdoor patio.
"We are excited to start the New Year with another Portillo's opening and to be a part of its expansion strategy. It's a privilege to oversee this construction and contribute to the restaurant's success," noted Vice President and Project Director, Dan Moriarity.

Construction is currently underway on two other Novak Construction-Portillo's projects, slated for Spring openings: Champaign, IL and Woodbury, MN.
