Notify Technology Announces David K. Hanabusa as Chairman and CEO

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Notify Technology Corporation is pleased to announce that David K Hanabusa, a very accomplished executive with a broad range of experience in high technology companies, has joined Notify as its new Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

Paul F. DePond, the founder of the company, will continue to lead Notify's sales and marketing team as President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing.

Most recently Mr. Hanabusa was a co-founder and CEO of PikLips LLC, a startup company that develops applications for Apple's iPhone®.  During his distinguished 37-year career in Silicon Valley, Mr. Hanabusa previously worked in two venture capital firms (Sequoia Ventures and Aragon Ventures), was an executive officer in over 10 high technology companies, and was an auditor in a predecessor firm of Price Waterhouse Coopers.  Mr. Hanabusa has a CPA, MBA and is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
