Notice of Engex, Inc. (NYSE Amex Symbol - EGX) Filing Form N-SAR Delayed

NEW YORK, Dec. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Due to the resignation of the Fund's certifying accountants shortly after the end of the Fund's fiscal year because of the accountants' inability to ensure their independence, the Fund's Audit Committee, all the members of which are Independent Directors, on November 3, 2011, selected EisnerAmper LLP ("Eisner") as the Fund's independent auditors for the fiscal year ended September 30, 2011.  Because of the abbreviated timeframe in which Eisner had to complete the audit of the Fund's financial statements, Eisner has advised the Fund that it is not yet able to issue its opinion.

At this time, Eisner is unable to advise the Fund as to when audited financial statements will be available.
