MILWAUKEE, Oct. 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Northwestern Mutual announced today it has been named one of the Top Companies for Women Technologists 2017 by the Anita Borg Institute, an international organization founded on the belief that women are vital to building technology that the world needs. The announcement was made at the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing Conference (GHC), which kicks off today through Oct. 6 in Orlando, Fla.

Northwestern Mutual is a first-time recipient of this cross-industry national program, which recognizes companies committed to building workplaces where women technologists can succeed. GHC is the world's largest technical conference for women in computing.
