Northstar Healthcare Announces Termination of Deal Acquiring Cancer Centers

HOUSTON, Dec. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ - Northstar Healthcare Inc. (TSX:NHC) today announced that Northstar Healthcare and Expert Oncology Network Solutions have mutually decided to terminate their purchase agreement for Northstar to acquire certain ownership interests in four physician owned radiation therapy cancer treatment centers from Dr. Chris Phan.  Northstar Healthcare conducted extensive due diligence on the centers over the course of the past several months.  Due to changed financial circumstances at the cancer treatment centers, both parties felt that it was necessary to now terminate the deal.
