FORT WORTH, Texas, Nov. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Due to continued growth of Northstar Bank of Texas, the roles of state CEO and President have been separated and new regional presidents are now in place.
Tony Clark remains CEO of Texas and will continue to be based in Denton. He has served the dual role of CEO and President since 1999, before joining the Carlile corporate family in 2012. With the new division of duties, he will be able to focus on strategic direction, net income, company culture, and both employee and client engagement. Mr. Clark's BBA is from Midwestern State in Wichita Falls, and his Professional Master of Banking degree is from LSU.
Mark White becomes Texas President of Northstar Bank. Mr. White has been Northstar's Colorado President since 2012, and moves to North Texas from Colorado Springs. Previously, he was SVP with BBVA Compass in Colorado, and earlier career highlights include officer roles at EECU, and US Bank in Colorado. His bachelor's degree is from Cal Poly and MBA is from the University of Colorado. Mr. White will have offices in both Fort Worth and Denton, Texas.
Glenn Monroe joins Northstar Bank as Tarrant County Regional President. Mr. Monroe has been Chairman and CEO of Meridian Bank Texas for most of the past decade, managing banks in Fort Worth, Denton, Carrollton, and Dallas, and overseeing Meridian's acquisition and conversion of State Bank and Trust. Previously he was EVP and Chief Lending Officer of TexasBank in Fort Worth, and earlier in his career was President of Wells Fargo in Denton. He has both a BBA and MBA from TCU and will be officed in Northstar's Fort Worth-University location.
Mr. Monroe succeeds Matthew Steward as Mr. Steward assumes the Denton County Regional President position. Mr. Steward's 30+ years of banking experience include officer roles with Moody, Frost, and Worthington National banks, and extensive experience managing commercial credit departments. He's a graduate of SMU Graduate School of Banking and OU Commercial Lending School.
Mr. Steward succeeds Ralph Ramsey in the Denton position, who remains Executive Vice President and will focus on the Dallas/Rockwall and builder markets.
Leah King also joins the Northstar Bank team as Marketing Communications Director and will be based in Fort Worth. She was previously with Holland Services. In her new role, she will oversee marketing and corporate communications responsibilities for all Northstar Bank locations in Texas and Colorado.
