Northern Trust Global Investments Expands London Securities Lending Team
Mark Snowdon and Mark Jones appointed to support increasing demand for securities lending products and services
LONDON, June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Northern Trust Global Investments (NTGI) Limited, the London based subsidiary and multi-asset class investment management business of Northern Trust Corporation (Nasdaq: NTRS) has, as a result of increased demand for securities lending products and services, enhanced its securities lending team with the appointment of Mark Snowdon as senior sales and relationship manager and Mark Jones as a product manager.
In the newly created position of senior sales and relationship manager, Snowdon will expand and develop Northern Trust's securities lending client relationships across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. As securities lending product manager, Jones is responsible for developing new products and solutions to meet and anticipate the changing needs of Northern Trust's securities lending clients. Jones joins from JP Morgan where he performed a similar role.
"We are seeing renewed interest in securities lending among many of our clients," said Andy Clayton, global head of securities lending at Northern Trust.
