Northern Offshore Announces New Contract Award for Jackup Energy Enhancer
HOUSTON, Dec. 14, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Northern Offshore, Ltd. (Oslo Bors: NOF.OL) today announced that its subsidiary, Northern Offshore U.K. Ltd., has been awarded a contract with Ithaca Energy (UK) Limited ("Ithaca"), a subsidiary of the Canadian independent oil and gas company Ithaca Energy Inc., for the jackup Energy Enhancer. The contract comprises the drilling and completion of one deviated well from the Jacky platform in the Inner Moray Firth area of the UK Sector, which is expected to begin late February 2011 and run approximately 72 days.
