Calendar Winners to Make First "Celebrity Appearance" at Medicare Expo on Oct. 25
AKRON, Ohio, Oct. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Twelve Northeast Ohio residents in their sixties were chosen to be featured on an exclusive 2019 calendar that highlights events and activities around the Akron area, and serves as a roadmap to good health.
A panel of celebrity judges selected the 60 Strong Ambassadors because they have overcome major health issues, lost or cared for loved ones, climbed mountains, reached new levels of fitness or participated in charitable work. Each one has a different story to tell. And they all exemplify how life after sixty can be a positive, vibrant and active time. In addition to appearing in the Akron 60 Strong calendar, winners received "celebrity treatment" and participated in a professional photo shoot.
The winners are as follows:

- Clarence Bechter, New Franklin
- Angela Bosela, Copley
- Fred Franks, Sr., Akron
- Sandra Fugitt, Uniontown
- Ellen Herman, Akron
- Dianne Howell, Wadsworth

The cost is $15 for each calendar and all online sales will benefit Faithful Servants Care Center, a nonprofit that provides urgent healthcare services to the uninsured.
Akron 60 Strong is a celebration of grit and resilience sponsored by Pioneer Physicians Network as they launch Paradigm Senior Care Advantage, a new program for their Medicare Advantage patients.
