North Jersey Community Bank To Become "ConnectOne Bank"

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., Jan. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- North Jersey Community Bank today announced it will change its name to ConnectOne Bank as of February 11, 2013. Part of a larger corporate rebranding, the new name celebrates the Bank's focus on connecting its customers with financial opportunities and community resources that position them for long-term growth. The Bank's holding company, North Jersey Community Bancorp, has already changed its name to ConnectOne Bancorp, effective immediately.

The Bank is currently undergoing a complete rebranding, which has allowed the Bank to take on a name that better aligns with it today and the direction in which it is headed.  Throughout the next month, customers can expect to see a new website, social media presence, corporate logo and marketing materials.

Today's announcement comes on the heels of an expansion of the Bank's executive leadership team with the creation of two new positions. Aditya Kishore joined the Bank as Chief Technology/Operations Officer and Laura Criscione, formerly Chief Operating Officer, now serves as Chief Compliance Officer.
