SAN DIEGO, Sept. 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- North Island Credit Union (North Island) recently held the official opening of its 10^th full-service San Diego branch in the newly renovated historic Mister A's building at 5^th & Laurel.

North Island President and CEO Steve O'Connell was joined by Chris Ward, chief of staff to Senator Marty Block, representing the communities of San Diego's Third City Council District, and Jerry Sanders, president/CEO of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, in the official ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event kicked off a week-long grand opening celebration with daily member raffles, prizes and giveaways, a Grand Prize drawing, free refreshments, and other community events.
