North Highland Welcomes David Cathcart as Chief Financial Officer

ATLANTA, April 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Global management consulting firm North Highland is pleased to announce the appointment of David Cathcart to its executive team as chief financial officer. In this role, Cathcart is responsible for the overall financial management of the firm, including financial planning, revenue management, forecast modeling, budgeting, reporting, accounting, and the firm's ESOP. He also has responsibility for the IT and Legal functions.

Cathcart brings deep international financial and professional services experience in leading corporate governance efforts, navigating merger and acquisition activity, and managing client relationships. This experience will complement North Highland's existing executive team as the firm continues to focus on helping clients solve complex business challenges when and where they need it.

Most recently, Cathcart served as interim CEO of TRX, Inc., leading its sale to Concur Technologies, Inc. in 2013. Prior to his role as CEO, he was CFO of TRX for six years, driving all financial aspects of the publicly traded company as well as managing and growing some of the company's largest client relationships. Cathcart holds a master of business administration from University of Central Florida and a bachelor of business administration from the University of Notre Dame. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
