North Highland Names George Gardner as Vice President

SAN FRANCISCO, May 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- North Highland today announced it has hired George Gardner as a vice president, leading the West Region health care practice. Gardner will focus on growing the region's health care portfolio and supporting North Highland's current health care clients. His wealth of knowledge in advising companies on corporate, growth and operational strategy, organizational alignment, and innovation will be tremendous assets to the firm.

Gardner joins the firm with more than 20 years of experience in designing and implementing innovative, actionable strategies and the supporting organizations and capabilities. He has spoken at various venues on innovation in health care, patient and physician engagement, and new business models. Gardner has also worked in private equity and venture development, crafting joint ventures in the insurance industry and launching one of the largest IPO's on the NYSE.

Most recently, Gardner joins North Highland from KPMG where he built out insightful new offerings and go-to market strategies. Prior to KPMG, Gardner worked at Accenture as a strategy executive, where he advised clients on the new dynamics and opportunities in the health care marketplace.

Gardner earned his MBA at New York University and his bachelor's degree from University of California, Berkley.
